So today, i had a school performance and the Phoenix Fine Arts Festival, cool huh? Our group got to sing with the Juniors and Seniors that go to the high school right next to ours. The high schoolers, being on the “Varsity Jazz” choir, they had a much better sound coming out then we did, so if we messed up it was hardly noticeable.

all and all, it was a good show, but i dont plan on ever doing it again in this kinda hot weather.

Living with parents who think their child needs to be more successful them themselves just about drives me insane. Dont get me wrong, i love my parents, but trying to tell me how my future is supposed to pan out, isn’t gonna get me where they want me to be. School is hard enough as it is, but now, i’m under deep stress because the year is almost over. Final tests, assignments, projects, everything, its making me crazy. I’m the kind of person who doesn’t handle stress very well, so i breakout in acne and blemishes, and i become VERY moody. I failed to “hand in” a writing assignment, and am now failing that class, and guess how my parents handled that one? Try grounded till the end of the school year, no myspace, youtube, cell phone, or friends for a month and a half. Talk about stress.

This post isn’t supposed to scare you, or make you freak out, or whatever. I’m just here to let you know, that if your parents are like mine, i feel your pain.

I’m not “hint hint”-ing or “nudge nudge”-ing. I’m just sharing whats going on in my head.

I have recently completed and turned in a math,reading, and writing project in school. All, believe it or not, due in the same week. I think the teachers at my school are putting too many projects on us all at once. I think i did do well on all of them, but cramming all of these projects on us, and expecting us to do an outstanding job on all of them, is a little too harsh. About a week ago today(Feb.26). I turned in my reading project and recived an A-, I do not yet know my writing score, and my math project is due on thursday(Feb.28). I’m a good student in class, but when under pressure, i do the worst i’ve ever done on homework/projects.There really wasnt a point to this post, but to say that schools are pushing too much on the students all at once.
